Andrew turns 3! Arrrgh!

HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY ANDREW ASA!!! :)

3 years ago my water broke and there was no turning back... and we are so thankful!  You have been a complete JOY for us to love and teach.  You are so smart and full of life!  You make us laugh a lot and we are thankful to God for that.  Some of your favorite things include:  wrestling with daddy or hanging out with daddy (he always asks for him and is by his side when he is home), playing pirate ship, watching Dora, Grover, or Backyardigans, playing puzzles, making delicious hamburgers and coffee ;), playing blocks, swinging, playing baseball (which he must have a hat on for) and "driving" the car.  You are just like Aaron (imagine that, born on the same day and everything).  Your personality is quiet at first and it takes you a while to warm up to people, but once you do, you are very loyal.  You are stubborn and all boy.  You memorize things after hearing/seeing them once.  You are also a cuddler which we love, hugs and kisses abound in this house.  We love you so much and can not imagine life without you, Andrew Asa!  We can not wait to see you continue to grow and learn.  And we pray you come to know the Lord and trust in Him throughout your life!

Leah's 1st Bee-Day! :)

Our Family and Friends came to celebrate our sweet girl turning 1!  We thank God for giving us this past year to laugh, snuggle, and love Leah Kathryn Lovelace!  Happy Bee-Day Sweet Leah Bug!  We Love You!

Leah girl...1 year old!

This little girl we prayed for every day of my pregnancy.  I was nervous, hoping she would be full term (Drew came early and had a Nicu stay which was not expected).  God held my hand and gave me hope.  He was gracious and faithful and she came at 39 weeks 1 day.  The emotion of holding her in the hospital and taking her home just after 3 days was overwhelming.  September 26th, 2011 was a day we will never forget and will always be thankful for.

It did not take long for the first year of Leah's life to fly by.  But, we have enjoyed every bit of it and her!  She is and has been a joy to watch grow.  These are things about her that we love:
spunky, happy, knows what she wants, observant, squishy :), blue eyes, tiny feet, great eater, loves buttons, plays with Drew, and lovey.  We praise God that he allowed us to have a healthy precious girl to love and be loved by.
