Favorite Things and Lovelace Happenings! :)

Thanksgiving was filled with family and friends, which is the only way to spend it!  We did miss Aaron's parents, but maybe we will spend next Thanksgiving with them (fingers crossed :)  Any who, we hung out with my family, then the Morgan's (Aaron best friend's family), then Aaron's side, and lastly a group of friends.  It was so fun and one of our favorite parts was playing games with Jeremy and Ari.  (Aaron's brother and his wife)  We also got to hold and play with baby Jackson which is always fun!  Leah loved Jackson and gave him lots of hugs.  :)  We are absolutely amazed at the community of friends and family we have and are so thankful to God for placing each of them in our lives!

On a different note, November has been as busy as every other fall month (all four of our birthdays fall within 6 weeks of each other, so this will be a norm)  Aaron and I joke that we should have any future children in the fall, so we can throw our children one big party.  :)

Leah and Jackson, so cute!

Cousins!  We will look back at this and cherish every moment we spent together as a family...
Love them!

Andrew's Big Boy Bed!!!

We finally got Andrew a big boy bed and he was so excited!  Aaron and I couldnt wait to see how happy it would make it.  He never disappoints in these situations and has always been so expressive.  You can the the video for how happy and astonished that this was actually his room.  These are memories I want to file away and remember when he becomes a teenager... :)

Climbing in...
So excited!

Climbing the ladder...                                                                       Being silly and all boy...

Life with a 1 and 3 year old! :)

Just had to start with this picture of the art Andrew decided to create...

Here is the story...
I went to brush my hair for 2 seconds (so I would look somewhat decent when I went to the store) and this is what I came back to.  I heard Leah fussing a little, but thought nothing of it because she is just a talker.  I now realize she was upset because Andrew was coloring with a PERMANENT marker all over her head!!!  This picture doesn't do it justice.  She also had dots and lines on the back of her head (which were harder to get out).  I did get most of it off, with only a hew of the evidence. The lovely green marker was left out by my brother who was staying with us for a few days... Oh well, we laugh now and it will be yet another memory we cherish in the Lovelace House. :)

Lately, Drew and Leah have been so fun!  We love that Leah can climb like a champ and play at the park.  Drew and Leah both love to swing, climb, and slide.  They have really started playing with each other, which makes Aaron and I so happy.  They love to laugh and chase each other.
Our kiddos definitely take after Aaron and I's parents.  :)  Drew is in the 30% for height and 60% for weight.  He is stout. (or thick as his Lovie likes to say)  Leah on the other hand, is 75% in height and 70% for weight.  Both of them are healthy, which we are so thankful for.
Playing together...

These 2 are just plain CUTE!

Pop Pops came to visit! The laughter abounds. :)

Birthday Boys! :)

Our sweets laughing. FYI- We were trying no underwear for Drew to help with potty training, so that is why he is undie-less. He regressed a little and was having more accidents than we wanted, so did it to help him and it definitely did.  :)

Andrew turns 3! Arrrgh!

HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY ANDREW ASA!!! :)

3 years ago my water broke and there was no turning back... and we are so thankful!  You have been a complete JOY for us to love and teach.  You are so smart and full of life!  You make us laugh a lot and we are thankful to God for that.  Some of your favorite things include:  wrestling with daddy or hanging out with daddy (he always asks for him and is by his side when he is home), playing pirate ship, watching Dora, Grover, or Backyardigans, playing puzzles, making delicious hamburgers and coffee ;), playing blocks, swinging, playing baseball (which he must have a hat on for) and "driving" the car.  You are just like Aaron (imagine that, born on the same day and everything).  Your personality is quiet at first and it takes you a while to warm up to people, but once you do, you are very loyal.  You are stubborn and all boy.  You memorize things after hearing/seeing them once.  You are also a cuddler which we love, hugs and kisses abound in this house.  We love you so much and can not imagine life without you, Andrew Asa!  We can not wait to see you continue to grow and learn.  And we pray you come to know the Lord and trust in Him throughout your life!

Here are pictures from his pirate party!  He was so excited and had a blast playing with all of his friends who came!  :)
Andrew excited while everyone sang to him.
(he also sang to himself which was too funny!)
Our Family... so blessed!

Arrrgh!  Shiver me timbers!  Friends having pirate fun!

Andrew excited about his presents!

He had an awesome party!  Thanks to all of our friends and family for loving our boy!
